The Martin Mauler

This AM-1 Mauler is from the NATC and was used for testing purposes. Finished as most other Maulers in overall navy blue, it features white codes all around. The number '308' and NATC are repeated on the lower left and upper right wings.

The Mauler saw only limited active duty service before being replaced by the much better AD Skyraider. This particular Mauler shows what an active service one looked like. The spinner tip was white, while the pennant behind the nose number was red with a black circle. All the codes are in white, and are repeated in the usual wing positions.
