Ernest R. McDowell comes to the modeler's rescue with 64 pages of excellent information on the P-47 Thunderbolt in the European Theater of Operations. Not only does he cover the E.T.O., but the M.T.O. as well.

Lots of photos, lots of excellent Don Greer color profiles of aircraft from every fighter group that flew the Jug in the 8th, 9th, 12th and 15th Air Forces, including aircraft of the French Air Force and the Brazilian Air Force. A minimum one-page history of each of these groups provides some operational information that was new even to this P-47 Maven.

If you have been sitting around wondering what kind of markings to put on that Hasegawa P-47 (razorback or bubbletop), this is the book for you.
