Here is another project to do when you have finished a long project and need a breather. This is another promo style snap kit. What impressed me the most about this one is the Body in this kit. It is outstanding! It is molded in a high gloss dark metallic blue and the silver paint fade on the body lowers has already been applied! And a nice job they did of it too! You certainly won't want to paint over this!

The interior is molded to match the body color. The dash, floor pan, steering wheel, seats and inner door side panels are all separate pieces. The engraving and detail on all theses pieces is very good.

The chassis is molded in black and has the promo style serial no. printed on it. The wheels are nicely done and need only some black wash to bring out the detail. The tires are done well too. They have good tread pattern and the side markings say GoodYear GT Radial with some finer print molded in as well.

The chrome tree consists of the side pipes, grille, bumperettes, license plate housing, side mirror and taillight reflectors.

There are stickers for the gauges and trunk emblem as well as a decal sheet with all the markings for the body. There is a small piece of mirror like reflective adhesive backed material for the mirrors.

The windshield frame, windshield and visors are molded as one piece.

This is a better than usual promo style kit that needs only minor detail painting on the interior and chrome foiling on the windshield frame and some other areas. The factory silver paint fade is a very well done surprise! Good one AMT/Ertl!
