Armor
Index

The days are getting shorter and the temperatures have dropped. One's mind starts to drift back to the work bench, as outdoor activities become more curtailed. A few months ago I was worried about the lack of new tank kits coming out in the 1999 DML Hong Kong and Shanghai catalogs. Also, Tamiya was not announcing a lot of forthcoming kits. Now the Ukraine and other Eastern European companies have come to us armor modeler's rescue. You can see inbox reviews of some of these in this issue by your's truly and several more besides mine. Our junior armor modeler Juho has provided build reviews on two Tamiya kits that he has recently built for your pleasure.

I have several new kits in the pipeline coming to whet your appetites in coming issues and my fears about new stuff have vanished. All kinds of new kits on the horizon... and I hope to give you all a good cross-section of them here through the winter months. So, be good and maybe Santa will put a few of these in your stocking.
