This is a new publication just on the scene, although those who are familiar with the magazine "Plastic Kit Constructor" might notice some similarities. That could have something to do with the fact that this magazine is being produced by the same crew that brings us Plastic Kit Constructor. Ron Firth is at the helm of this publication, and his goal is to show that you don't necessarily need lots of aftermarket accessories and expensive new-tooled kits to make a good model. Quality results without a lot of cash out of pocket seems to be the trade here, and the lineup of articles shows that out.

In this issue there are no less than three articles relating to old Airfix kits, including one on US Navy aircraft. The Airfix product line still has some of the best 1/72 US Navy planes out there, including the Devastator and Duck. Other articles in this issue include building the Matchbox Vickers Wellesley, Airfix's Westland Whirlwind, and Revell's latest F-100D. All of the articles are very well written and amply illustrated, albeit in black and white. The only color in this publication is on the cover, which is probably the main reason the price is so low.

Scale drawings and tips & tricks are also included, making this an excellent start for this magazine. If you like Plastic Kit Constructor you'll love this magazine. Check out the PAMAG website for more information on subscription and ordering information.
