When it comes to F-16s they all seem to look alike, with only the national markings being different.  There are a few countries that use a different camouflage pattern, though, and Greece is one of them.  The Greek F-16s have a very interesting and very different scheme consisting of four different colors and while initially looking odd, the photos in this book prove that it is an effective camouflage.  Like the AH-64 book, this book has a short history of the F-16 written in Greek, followed by lots of very nice color photos.  Unlike the AH-64 book, however, this title is all in Greek, including the photo captions.  However, the phrase "a picture says a thousand words" definitely comes into play here, and for the most part things are self-explanatory.  The air-to-air shots are really great and the detail shots round out this nice title.

While there are plenty of titles out there on the F-16, this one is a welcome addition due to its low cost and great photo coverage of Greek F-16s. If you're looking for something a little different for your latest Viper kit, this book will give you all you need to know to build one from the Hellenic Air Force.
