FlightDecs is a new company based in Thunder Bay, Ontario that specialises
in stocking decals that are somewhat out of the ordinary. Shown here are
samples of three of the lines they carry.
GAL Decals
GAL Decals are produced on a very small scale in England by George
Lowe and are printed by Fantasy Workshop There are two sheets available
at present, both deal with 1/72 Finnish subjects, that seen here
is Sheet No.2 containing the IVL A.22, Breguet 14, Valemt Vinka
and SAAB Draken.
Profile illustrations of all options are included.
Dutch Decals
Set 48017 features ten B-25s (C/D/G/J variants) from various Dutch
squadrons in the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force and the
Royal Netherlands Military Flying School in the USA in 1943.
Profile illustrations of all options are included.
Not to be confused with the recent issues from a similarily named
East European Decal line, this is a 1993 release from the Sydney,
BC manufacturer. FlightDecs hopes to reintroduce their line of 50
different subjects in the near future.
The sample shown here is of various 1/72 scale Roumanian aircraft
of the WWII era. As well as national markings, there are very well
detailed b/w drawings of all options included giving top and side
views
