Propagteam Decals

For the last few years Propagteam decals have been gracing various kits from the former Eastern Bloc countries. Propagteam decals are well printed with good register, however they are blessed/cursed with being among the thinnest and best adhering decals on the market. This means they will affix themselves to whatever surface they are applied to, so care must be taken in their use.

Woodgrain decals
1/72 & 1/48 scales

Propagteam produce a line of plywood woodgrain decals available in both 1/72 and 1/48 scales. The 1/72 measures 12cmx8cm, while the 1/48 measures 12cmx18cm. Both sets contain two sheets. Shown here is a small section of the 1/48 sheet. For the full size sheet click on the thumbnail.

Mini Print Decal

Another new company from the Czech Republic is MPD. These decals are well printed and also have excellent register. Unfortunately one of the colours on each of the patterns is suspect from what is now accepted as the normal range of colours.

Lozenge - Light Lower Surface
72018a - 1/72 Scale

Propagteam provide 15" of four-colour lower lozenge in six 2.5" bolts. Three of the colours are within the usual range for this pattern, however the green is somewhat darker than my own research has turned up in my work for Flying Machines Press.

Lozenge - Dark Upper Surface
72081b - 1/72 Scale

The dark upper pattern is the same size as the lower, however this time the colours are in error. Propagteam have mauve in the place of the dull dark blue.
