Here's some of the latest armor photoetch detail set releases in 1/72 and 1/35 from Part out of Poland.
PzKpfw VI Tiger I Ausf. E Zimmerit For the Revell Kit Available from Roll Models for $9.00
This is a great idea: photoetched zimmerit for WW2 German tanks. This set provides separate panels to go on all the sections of the Revell Tiger I tank. Openings are cut out to work around all the various bumps and hatches, as well as random openings to give a hand-applied look. This set gives you everything to cover an entire Tiger I tank and will really make applying zimmerit to a 1/72 tank a snap.
SdKfz 251 Ausf. D Floor, Boxes & Seats For the Tamiya Kit Available from Roll Models for $17.75
There's a lot of brass in this set, and it all goes in the cabin of the Tamiya SdKfz 251 kit. Starting with the floor, there's a new floor with treadplate texture, complete with all the various hatches in the floor provided separately. Moving to the seats, these are made up of dozens of pieces. The base is made up of one piece folded, with extra pieces making up hinges. On top of these rests another piece giving the seats an angle, with the actual seat being composed of separate stringers fitting onto a frame. These stringers are etched out of thicker brass than the rest of the set, making them look much more realistic. This set will go a long way to making the inside of the Tamiya kit really look sharp.
