I decided to build this kit because I've always I've always liked Cobras. Since I can't afford a real Cobra, or for that matter even a replica, I settled for the Revell kit.
The Cobra kit went together very easily. The only problem I had was fitting the body over the radiator assembly. I chose to replace the side pipes with the optional chrome side pipes. I also liked the chrome roll bar option better than the black roll bar.
The body was painted with five coats of Testors gloss black paint from a spray can. I finished it off with one coat of clear gloss also from a spray can. (This finish really shows off the dust!) I chose not to use the decals since, strictly speaking, I didn't build the actual Baldwin-Motion Drag Cobra. Instead I built the Cobra that I would have in my garage.
I was pleased with this kit. There were no unexpected challenges, it was easy to build and the detail is nice. It builds up into a very convincing model that really catches the look of the Cobra. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone with a little modeling experience.
