Vega Aviation Art:

Hans Bar's Me 262

By Michael Benolkin

Saul Vega produces an impressive array of affordable aviation art. Here is a look at his latest offering: Messeschmitt Me262 as flown by Hans Bar.

As described by the artist: "Beginning with a French Curtiss Hawk H-75A shot down on September 25 1939, Bar had amassed 204 piston-engined aerial victories before transitioning to the Me262, on which he scored a further 16 to become the leading daylight jet ace, and the second only to the nightfighting Kurt Welter in the overall ranking."

This Me262 is one of many interesting aircraft that have been illustrated by Saul Vega. You can stop into his website for a closer look at this and his other subjects. You'll also find that these prints are also very reasonably priced too!

My sincere thanks to Saul Vega (https://www.vegaart.com) for this review sample.
