Max Decals 1/48 Exotic Lysanders

Another new release from Max Decals, is this set for the Testors/Italeri/Hawk/Gavia Lysander. Included are markings for six different Lysanders

– Lysander TT III V9817, 3 Gunnery & Tow Flt, 8th AF
– Lysander TT III T1445 K-W6-K, No.755 Sqn FAA
– Lysander I Y513, No.1 Army Co-operation Sqn Royal Egyptian AF
– Lysander I GF-L, No.1 Army Co-operation Sqn Royal Egyptian AF
– Lysander IIIA, 361 Gruppo de Reconhecimento e Informacao, Portugese AF
– Lysander II, 3106 Turkish AF

The decals are printed by Propagteam and are nicely registered. In common with others from Propagteam it is noted that they are extremely thin and that care should be taken in applying them.

There are also b/w profiles showing all six options, and it is stated that full colour examplesare available online. This may be the way for other small manufacturers to go - provide b/w drawings, and place full colour images online - great idea.

Conclusion

All in all a nice set that will add variety to any of the above Lysander models.
