Plus Model 1/35 Resin Details

By Michael Benolkin

Plus Model has released two more interesting sets, the first of which was nearly snatched out my hand by a very animated armor builder (aka 'treadhead'). We've reviewed quite a few kits and conversions from Plus Model in previous issues of Internet Modeler and yet it still amazes me that these parts are resin and not injection-molded styrene after you look at the detail and quality of the castings.

133 - 1/35 PzKpfw 38(t) Engine Set

Whether you like to model the stock Praga tank, or one of the multitude of combat vehicles that the German Army developed from this chassis, this detail set will allow you to 'open up the hood' and show off yet more detail. If you have the Italeri, Tamiya or DML series of Grille, Hetzer or basic 38(t), this set will help you create a contest contender.

144 - Paving Stones - Big

Plus Models has been producing an interesting array of diorama accessories to add depth and fidelity to your project. This latest offering is yet another example of their creativity - elegant in its simplicity. This is simply a bag of weathered sandstone paving stones as you'd find on a road or in a pile of rubble. As with a box of Legos, the end result is only limited by your imagination.

You can order these and all of Plus Models's other great offerings direct from their website at https://www.plusmodel.cz.

My sincere thanks to Plus Models for these review samples!
