APC Decals

By Bob Pearson

A new player in the decal game is APC, these are produced in the Czech Republic, and their first releases feature a strong Eastern European flavour. Each set has b/w profiles showing decal placement and what looks to be informative text. However the text is in Czech, so it is lost on me. Apparently future releases will have English translations.

My thanks to Lubos Vinar of Hobbyshop.cz for the review samples. Lubos is also one of the partners involved in producing these sets. Great job guys.

AVia/SABCA BH-21

72014
Ansaldo SVA10

For the RVHP 1/72 SVA10 kit

72018
LFG Roland D.VIb

For the 1/72 Mac or Pegasus kits. Markings are for what I assume is a post WWI Czech machine

K-65 Cap

Appears to be a Czech version of the Fielser Storch

Nieuport 17 C.3598

An interesting 1/48 set for a long-lived Nieuport 17. Formerly an IRAS machine, it is seen here as a Czech machine at sometime between 1919 and 1923. I recall an article on this aircraft in a recent issue of Windsock Magazine
