Cutting Edge Modelworks Details

Last month, we saw a new detailing technology introduced in Cutting Edge's 1/32 Bf109G-6 Cockpit Set - rubber seat belts. Well this month, Cutting Edge has released a variety of these new seatbelts in a variety of subjects and scales. In addition, we'll take a look at their Bf109F/G/K Detailing Set and a number of Black Magic Masks for the Hasegawa Bf109G-6 kit.

This set will provide a variety of exterior detail improvements to the new Hasegawa kit, including: positionable elevators and rudder, positionable radiator flap, detailed tropical air filters, canopy frame lights, tailwheel with separate yoke, and barrels for the MG131 and MG151 cannons. This is an excellent companion set for the Cockpit Sets that we reviewed last month.

This set is molded in an RTV rubber. You just cut out the belt and harness following the instructions, paint them and then you have the ability to pose them in whatever position you'd like on your kit's seat.
