Stug III In Miniature
Part one is a brief history of the Sturmgeschutz III, including a few B&W photos of the machine in action. Part two provides an in-depth discussion on modeling and detailing the 1/35 kit, including sources of aftermarket detail parts and a look at some of the details in a completed kit. The final part is a color & B&W look at a full-scale Stug III as seen in an armor museum. As with all of the previous titles from Kagero that we've seen, this title also includes a nice decal sheet for several examples of the Stug III. Color profiles of each example are provided on the inside covers of this book. This title is highly recommended to the armor modeler!
Panther Ausf. A/G
This title has an abbreviated history of the vehicle in the beginning, and the remainder of the book is crammed with color and black & white photos of Panthers that are on display around the world. These photos get up-close to the details that you need for your project, as it is clear that the photographer is also a modeler. As with other titles from Kagero that we've reviewed, this book also includes a set of decals for your next dozen Panther projects. This title is highly recommended to the armor modeler!
Sturmpanzer IV Brummbar
The title is broken down into four sections: Part One covers a brief history of the vehicle, complete with B&W photos of the Brummbar in the field. Part Two is an extensive photo essay of the vehicle as it appears in various museums, loaded with up-close color and black & white photo details. Part Three is a brief summary of how the Dragon/DML kit goes together. And finally Part Four provides loads of three-view diagrams and scrap detail drawings. As usual, this title also comes with a set of decals, in this case a set of different style German crosses in 1/35 and 1/72 scale. This may sound redundant, but this title is also highly recommended.
