Once again, DRAW has produced another decal of an unusual paint scheme. Spirit Airlines in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, now flying with an all MD-80 fleet is proudly showing their new "Digital" scheme. Purple squares of twelve progressive lighter shades, stacked on each other, make up this exciting paint job. DRAW has done a great job of duplicating the colors and shading, where as the blocks take on almost 3D look to them.

This set is designed by one of DRAW's youngest and most distant contributing artist, Cristian Xavier Balo of Argentina. Cristian has included all the small details you will need. The windows have random window shades pulled down to give a more realistic look to them. Two extras with the sheet are ice detection triangles and the "Spirit of Freedom" script for N816NK. A photo of this can be seen here at Airliners.net.

I am sure this ALPS printed sheet will be very popular for the MD-80 fans like myself.

Thanks to DRAW Decal for this sample.

Here is a photo looking out of the overwing exit on the right wing showing placement of the ice detection triangles.
