Unfortunately this book is written entirely in Russian, so I'm not sure who the author is, nor the publisher. I think the publisher is M-Hobby, but again, without that part of the text in English, I'm not 100% positive.

If you have any interest at all in the Russian series of BT tanks, this book is a must. Yes, it would be nice if it was entirely in English (there are English captions to the photos) but don't let that stop you. The drawings, photos and color profiles are a must for modeling any of the BT tanks. There are drawings not only for the major operational varients, but also the experimental types as well.

The book naturally starts with the preliminaries leading up to the production of the BT-2. It follows the entire history of the BT-2, followed by the BT-5 and BT-7. Experimental tanks are also well covered. There are operational photos, photos of machines "shot up" and four pages of color profiles, including color photos of a BT-7 still in existence.

This is an awesome book and comes highly recommended. You can find more information about the book on the Tushino Aviapress site. I'm not sure of a US source, but maybe the fine folks at Red Star Models can get it in for you. It appears Aviapress is charging US$19.95 for it, but I can't tell you what I paid for it, as I acquired the book through a trade.
