Plus Model's 1/35 New Releases

Plus Model has released three interesting figure/detail sets. Let's
take a look:
169 - 1/35 Column w/Cross (INRI)
 
There were many shrines and mini-shrines across Europe during WW2, a
few of which still survive today. Symbolizing the strong bonds of the
Catholic Church that dates back over a thousand years, these shrines were
visited by soldiers (of both sides) and civilians alike. The inscription
- INRI - is the latin abbreviation for 'Jesus of Nazareth King of the
Jews'. This 1/35 scale shrine is beautifully cast in resin to add dimension
to your roadside vignette.
170 - Russian Sailors - Black Sea Fleet WWII
Here are a pair of figures that are nicely done and also tell a story.
While one sailor hold onto his fresh catch of rabbit, the other is holding
up a birdcage with parrot inside (I hope they aren't THAT hungry!). The
two figures are nicely detailed and cast in resin, while a detailed photo-etched
birdcage is also included (w/resin bird).
171 - GI Rats
 
This is my favorite of this batch - resin rats. According
to the box, there are 25 rats included in this set as well as a can of
rat poison (with decals). What an interesting way to round out a vignette!
