This
latest installment in the Walk Around series focuses on the Douglas SBD
Dauntless. It is a great mix of contemporary color photos of restored
musuem aircraft, rare color wartime photographs of Dauntlesses in action,
as well as B&W photos of many significant details around the aircraft.
Detailed drawings are provided to illustrate the differences between SBD versions. Color profiles are also included to depict various USN, USMC and foreign color schemes.
This particular title is well done as I don't believe there is a nook or cranny left in the aircraft that isn't depicted in this book. It's time to dust off that Accurate Miniatures Dauntless...
