Since we've already had First Looks on the Eduard 1/48 F.2B, kit #8488, I thought I would just show the bulk of the parts again, along with the decals for this release. Like all of Eduard's Weekend Edition, this one comes with only one scheme, that for Bristol F.2B C-4619, No. 62 Squadron RFC, 2/Lt PR WE Staton and Lt HE Meritt, 25 1/2 confirmed victories, France, early 1918. Decals are nicely printed and in register.

Along with only one marking option, Eduard's Weekend Kits also tend not to come with photoetch nor with masks. The reasoning is that - in essence - these kits can be built in a weekend. Not sure if that's true or not (it all depends on the modeler - heck, if I built a model in a weekend, I know that something either froze over, or it happens to be the last day of Earth) but that's Eduard's premise.
For more on what is within the box, be sure to check out either my First Look on their "BrisFish" review, or Will Hendriks' First Look of the Nightfighter release.
My thanks to Eduard for the review sample.
