When Hobby boss released their new M3A-1 Scout car, it featured excellent detail and tooling. Well, as is the Eduard way, there is nothing that can’t be enhanced with a little photo-etch. And Eduard’s new M3A-1 set is packed with enhancements. The set comes on three frets of etched brass parts with details for the engine, exterior, and interior of the scout car. Details include a full replacement for the diamond tread floor, a new dash with paper instrument backing, and new engine covers. The set also includes lots of smaller details for the machine guns and mounts, tools, and stowage boxes. At first glance you might wonder what of the kit actually remains. This is an excellent set, and is a must for anyone building the Hobby Boss kit. My thanks to Eduard for supplying this review sample.
