Overview This set picks up where the first one left off, and for those not familiar with Soviet uniforms, there is a reason. The insignia changed in 1944, becoming much simpler, without a seasonal change and contained only in the epaulets. The number of medals also increased, as by 1944 there were quite a few distinguished battles for which soldiers received recognition. The Parts
For the medals, there are quite a few, both in ribbon and pin form. There is the Order of the Red Banner, Order of Glory 1st Class, Order of Glory 2nd Class, Order of Glory 3rd Class, Partisan of the Patriotic War 1st Class, Partisan of the Patriotic War 2nd Class, Medal for Courage, Medal for Combat Merits, Order of Lenin, Medal for Labor Valor, Medal for the Defense of Odessa, Medal for the Defense of Moscow, Medal for the Defense of Leningrad, Medal for the Defense of Caucasus, Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad, Guard's Unit Badge, Order of the Red Banner (pin), Excellent Shooter, Order of the Patriotic War 1st Class, order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class, Order of the Red Star, and Gold Star of Hero of the Soviet Union.
