This new set-item number 73384-is for Airfix's new Sea Harrier FRS.1. It contains 124 parts on 2 photo-etched frets, one of which is self adhesive and partially pre-painted. A small sheet of acetate with 3 gunsight lenses is also included. The self-adhesive fret is devoted to the cockpit. The pre-painted items include a new instrument panel and side consoles, seat belts and shoulder harness. Additional parts include the canopy explosive charge and some great parts to dress up the area aft of the cockpit.

The second fret enhances many different areas of the airframe. It includes a windscreen wiper, rear landing gear brake line, new chaff/flare dispensers, various sensors, pitot and data probes, landing gear doors, and more parts to dress up the canopy. There are also some parts which enhance the missile launch rails. The piece-de-resistance is a complete boarding ladder. This looks somewhat daunting to build and it represents a kit in itself. You will definitely want to wear your Optivisor and use photo-etch folding tools.
This is a very good photo-etch set which I highly recommend. Airfix's new Sea Harrier kit is very detailed but this set takes it to a new level. I would like to thank Eduard for providing the review sample.
