UMM-USA now helps the modeler by providing not only round lead wire, but also provides a "flat" wire, that will help with adding lots of detail to your model. You can use this for something as easy as seat belts to your cockpit to as diverse as inspection plates on any model. It could be used to easily create "holders" around pioneer tools for your armor model. The only thing limiting what the flat wire can be used for is your imagination. If you cut up sheet plastic in the past to add some flat detail, the flat lead wire could be used easier, especially if that detail has to conform itself to some external detail. As I mentioned, you're only limited by your imagination to what you can use this flat lead wire for. A most useful addition to any modeling "bag of tricks".
