Eduard 1/144 MiG-15 Dual Combo
By Matt Bittner
Since I've already reviewed both the Eduard 1/144 MiG-15bis and MiG-15 (as the Ceskoslovensky Patnactky release) I won't go into details on what's included with the kit and will refer you to that article instead. What I will do, though, is mention what schemes come with this Dual Combo release:
- c/n 108023, 176th IAP, Antung Air Base, Korea, April 1951
- Czechoslovak Air Force, 1st Fighter Division, Ruzyne Airport, September, 1955
- 29th GIAP, Dachang Air Base, Shanghai, China, spring - summer 1950
- Czechoslovak Air Force, Flown by Lt. Jaroslav Sramek, 2nd Squadron, 5th Fighter Regiment, Plzen-Line AB, Late March 1953
- VVS, c/n 120077 flown by Major Alexei A. Mikoyan, Deputy CO of 274th IAP, Kubinka Air Base, early 50s
- Polish Air Force, 1st PLM, Warsaw – Babice Air Base, 1951
Most aircraft were overall natural metal, while the 1st Fighter Division Czech aircraft had lots of red on top, and c/n 108023 had red in the nose.
Eduard's 1/144 MiG-15s are considered the standard in this scale so they come highly recommended.
My thanks to Eduard for the review kit.
