HR Model 1/72 Hanriot HD.1/2 “U.S. Navy, Venezuela, Ecuador”
By Matt Bittner
Since I've already reviewed both the Hanriot HD.1 and HD.2 from HR Model – and Diego Fernetti has built an HD.1 – I'll display the same parts from the original reviews, as well as the new decals. The decals are for the following machines:
- HD.2, U.S. Navy, 1923, "White 2"
- HD.2, U.S. Navy, 1923, A-5620
- HD.1, Ecuador, pilot Elia Liuty, November 1920
- HD.1, Fuerza Aerea Venezolana, Caracas, 1920
The U.S. Navy machines are finished overall in Light Gray; the Ecuadorian one overall Dark Green; and the Venezuelan overall Aluminum. Decals are nicely printed and appear in register.
Since the HR Model Hanriots come with parts for both HD.1s and HD.2s – along with floats for the HD.2s that used them – you will have parts left over.
My thanks to HR Model for sending this kit to review.
