Eduard 1/72 Brassin AIM-7 Sparrows
By Matt Bittner
Eduard's Brassin line has really taken off (no pun intended) and they have now expanded into providing ordnance for almost any jet-type. The level of detail is outstanding and with everything provided they will look excellent hanging off the appropriate aircraft.
Their 1/72 AIM-7 Sparrows are really first-class. Both the AIM-7E (#672030) and AIM-7M (#672032) are covered by Eduard and the same part break-down is provided for each type. In the package you receive four Sparrows, with the end fins molded on, while the mid-fins are molded separate and will require being glued on. This shouldn't be too difficult, the only thing you'll have to worry about is making sure they're straight. Eduard provides holes in the missile bodies to accept the pins on each fin.
The other parts provided are photoetch missile ends and a comprehensive decal sheet for each missile.
If you have a jet that needs Sparrows added to it, then by all means track down these missiles from Eduard. You'll be glad you did.
Huge thanks to Eduard for providing these missiles for review.
