Eduard 1/72 Brassin M-2 Browning Guns
By Matt Bittner
There are times where it makes sense to release things as aftermarket, be they resin or some other material. For different types of equipment you could have M-2 Brownings “in place” or manually operated. Thankfully these 1/72 M-2 Brownings from Eduard can be used in either configuration.
You receive six guns: resin supplies not only the entire gun but also the belt receiving mechanism – if you’re using them “in place” – as well as the end that is attached to the butt. Photoetch not only provides the gun sights – both fore and aft – along with the cocking mechanism and the shoulder “pad” for the manually operated gun or a different “end” for the “in place” configuration.
One thing to keep in mind is this set only contains the guns, you’ll have to come up with your own mounting mechanism dependent on how you want to use them in your models.
I definitely thank Eduard for sending these in for review.
