Eduard Brassin 1/72 FW190 MG131 Mount
By Jacob Russell
This exciting new Brassin set is for Eduard's Focke-Wulf FW190A-8 kit. It is a comprehensive set, consisting of 20 parts. 10 of the parts are resin and 10 are photo-etched pieces on a single fret. The resin parts include the MG131 guns, the upper cowling, ammunition boxes, gun mount, the back of the BMW 801 radial engine and the engine mounting arms. The PE fret includes cowling latches, windscreen demisting equipment, ammunition box locks, etc.

This is a great set. You can combine it with Eduard's Brassin engine for a highly detailed, opened-up plane suitable for a maintenance diorama. Or you can use it by itself, or with Eduard's gun bay set.
The engine accessory compartment of the Focke-Wulf FW190A-8 was a busy area. I would recommend that you find some good photographs of it, so that you can add the wiring, hoses, etc. that are so prominent.
I recommend this Brassin set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
