Eduard Brassin/Look Bf109G-10 Sets
By Jacob Russell
Some Late War Messerschmitt Bf109G variants had either narrow or wide main wheels with upper wing bulges to provide sufficient room for them in the landing gear bays. Eduard has catered to both of these options in their G-10 and G-14/AS kits and they have just introduced 2 Brassin/Löök resin and PE sets for them.
These are 2 "greatest hits" boxes. Each set contains resin main wheels and exhaust stacks, TFace canopy masks and wheel masks plus a pre-painted resin instrument panel and PE seat belts.
644045 is for the Early G-10 with the narrow wheels while 644046 caters to the Late G-10 with wide wheels. The Tface masks are for the canopy interior and exterior and are perfect to display your interior painting skills with an open cockpit. The Tampo printed instrument panel provides a level of detail that arguably exceeds Eduard's photo etch panels.
Eduard's Bf109G-10, G-14 and G-14/AS kits are superbly detailed and accurate. If you'd prefer choosing your own aftermarket decals and/or want a simpler build, why not buy an Overtrees kit and add a Löök multimedia set to it? That's exactly what I plan to do. I recommend these sets and I would like to thank Eduard for the review samples.
