Videoaviation.com MJ-1 Loaders
By Matt Bittner
Videoaviation.com originally released their MJ-1 Loaders in 1/32 which was built for us a short time ago. You can see in that article they really build up well and will look great next to any aircraft in any diorama; or, as in the article, standing by itself.
Videoaviation.com has now released the MJ-1 loaders in 1/48, both an "early" (MJ-1A) and "late" (MJ-1B) versions. Each kit has 28 pieces of resin and a decal sheet. The only thing the loaders don't come with is any ordnance to load on them; you'll have to provide that yourself.
There aren't a lot of differences between the two, just a couple of pieces and body shape, so you'll need to decide if you're looking to create a Vietnam-era display or a more modern one. If you're going modern you should pick up the MJ-1B as the MJ-1A is better suited toward the earlier aircraft.
Whichever one you decide to pick up will look great on any display.
My thanks to Videoaviation.com for providing the review samples.
