FFSMC Productions Curtiss H-75 A-4 Mohawk IV
By Matt Bittner
I've been working on an Arma Hobby 1/72 Curtiss H-75 and P-36A and was looking for alternate markings for the French H-75A-1. Along comes FFSMC Productions with their relatively new set of H-75 decals which includes an H-75C-1 flown in Morocco which I will use.
So let's see what aircraft are catered for on this set of decals (note that FFSMC Productions sent me the decals in 1/48 and 1/72):
- Curtiss H75C-1 n°8, GC II/5 Lafayette, Casablanca (Morocco) 1940
- Curtiss H75 A-4 "Mohawk IV" (former SAAF) FAFL, Commander Jean Tulasne, Rayak (Syria) 1942
- Curtiss H75 A-7, 4th VI. Gr. ML-KNIL, b-Sgt P. Van Breen, Andir AB (Java), 194
- Curtiss Mohawk IV, 5 Squadron, F/Off. J.N. Lee, Agartala (India) May 1943
All aircraft are camouflaged based on their respective country. The decals are very nicely printed and in register. Note that these can be ordered in the four major scales: 1/144, 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32. If you want them in 1/32 they are broken out into two sets of decals for two schemes per release.
Huge thanks to FFSMC Productions for sending these decals to review. Buy in confidence!
