Model Craft Berna Multiclamps

Model Craft Berna Multiclamps

By Matt Bittner

In his review, you can see how Chris used the 2.5 inch Plastic Spring Clamps. The biggest advantage to these are they're great for using on flat-ish surfaces. However, whenever a surface you want to use them on is curved – such as fuselage halves – then these clamps tend to ping off the model. Not good.

This is where the Berna Multiclamps come in good use. Their unique design ensures the clamps will stay on all but the most extreme curved surface. They'll take some getting used to using, but once figured out they'll be great for clamping together modeling surfaces while drying. In addition, but "reversing" the way they work, they can be used as holding clamps, keeping parts in place so they can be handled for tasks such as painting.

Our thanks to Billing Boats USA for sending these Multiclamps out to review.
