UMM-USA 3D Riveter 1mm 1/32 "Wood Handle"

By Matt Bittner

UMM-USA recently released a number of riveting tools in all "scales" - 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32.  However, technically you can use all of them for any scale, it's more dependent on the spacing of the rivets you want to make.  This Riveter from UMM-USA is in 1/32 scale, but more importantly, it has a rivet spacing of 1mm.

The current Riveters have been released with either a "black" handle or a "wood" handle.  That's the only difference between the two as whichever you chose - in whichever scale - has the same metal head.  As with all riveting tools you'll need a straight edge to guide the riveting wheel along, otherwise you could end up with a line of rivets that aren't very straight.

The handle UMM-USA provides is really what sets this off.  It "feels" good in your hand and is easy to control.  If you're looking for a riveting tool, then UMM-USA can definitely fill your need.

Our thanks to UMM-USA for providing the review tool.
