Internet Modeler and Y2K

By Chris Banyai-Riepl

Welcome to the 21st century! We've been rather busy here at Internet Modeler, trying to get ready for the new century. By now I'm sure you've noticed a few changes and additions to our magazine. The first, and probably the best, is the search engine. By typing in what you want to find and hitting the search button you can find all those pages at Internet Modeler that you need to, quickly and easily.

Along the same lines, master index pages have been created for all the articles and reviews from September 1998 through December 1999. We will try to keep these updated on a quarterly schedule, and you can use those to find what you want as well. The totals for this first year (plus some) was over 700 reviews and feature articles. The new year is looking like it will beat that number, too, so Internet Modeler is quickly becoming one of the largest online modeling magazines, if not THE largest.

The final addition to this issue is a new discussion forum. I'm sure you've seen similar ones out there on the Internet before. This can be a great place to ask questions and help out other modelers by responding to their questions. Be sure to check it out.

As we move in to the 21st century we here at Internet Modeler will be working hard to continue to bring you the best in reviews and articles. We've got quite a bit lined up already, and if this issue is any indication of things to come, you can tell that it will definitely be a great year!
