Editorial

September marks the beginnings of many things. Kids are going back to school, autumn is in the air, and back in September of 1998 Internet Modeler got its start. Since then we have constantly tried to provide you with the best possible coverage of all scale modeling, from aviation to naval to automotive and everything in between. We must be doing something right, as we have seen a tenfold increase in our readership over the last two years and are known the world over, both online and off. This last point really came home to me when I overheard a couple modelers at the local hobby shop talking about an article they read in Internet Modeler.

So where do we go from here? Well, I'd like to see another tenfold increase in readership over the next two years. We will continue to provide the world with top-notch articles just like we have been for the last two years. We're going to try to get more comprehensive how-to type articles on such topics as painting, detailing, and weathering. We will continue to bring in new talent and show new ways of doing the same old tasks that you might not have heard of before. And as always we will provide the world with their first look at the latest releases in kits, accessories and references.

I look back on the last two years with pleasure, knowing that my hard work has helped a great many modelers and I look forward with excitement and anticipation for the very same reason. Here's to another year of great Internet Modeler issues!
