Draw Decals 1/144 Seaboard World DC-8-50s

This latest release from Draw Decals is designed for the new In Formation DC-8 kit, although the instructions state that it could also be used on the old Revell kit as well. This rather colorful DC-8 makes for a slim decal sheet, mainly because the cheatline is left for the modeler to paint on. The scheme is simple, with the lower fuselage in light gray and the upper fuselage in white. Separating the two colors is a black cheatline, stretching around the entire nose. The tail is painted in gold, with a black leading edge and a black & white Seaboard World logo. Seaboard World titles for the fuselage as well as registration codes to do any of the Seaboard World DC-8s are included in the decal. A full set of window decals and 'DC-8 Jet Trader' logos are also present, as well as ten Pratt & Whitney logos for the engines (a pair of extras just in case).

While this decal will require a bit of extra painting, the final livery will be very attractive. This is probably just the beginning of a great line of DC-8 decals from Draw, and if they are done to the same level as these, I'll be looking forward to them with anticipation.
