F-15 Eagle in Action

by Al Adcock, Squadron/Signal Publications, ISBN 1-89747-445-7, 49 pages.

This new release from Squadron/Signal Publications is actually Part Two of the F-15 Eagle in Action released back in 1976 by Lou Drendel. Where the first book covered the prototype and early Eagles in the USAF fleet, this new release picks up the story with the F-15s in USAF service as well as those operated in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Japan. Where the first title was released when only the F-15A/Bs were entering service, this title carries on with Eagle operators from that time forward, including the improved F-15C/D air superiority Eagles as well as the F-15E Bomber Eagles (Beagles).

The book features the usual high-quality black & white captioned photographs and the 'centerfold' color profiles. This book is a nice addition to your reference shelf and is highly recommended. My sincere thanks to Squadron Mail Order for this review sample!
