FCM New Decal Releases By Michael Benolkin

FCM has sent us four of their latest offerings. Let's take a look:

Fokker D.VII - FCM/Elite 48-18

This set provides markings for six examples:

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), Lt Hermann Gilly, Jasta 40a

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), Lt Carl-August von Schoeneback, Jasta 33

• Fokker D.VII (Fokker-built), Uffz Fritz Haack, Jasta 46

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), Vzfw Oskar Hennrich, Jasta 46

• Fokker D.VII (Fokker-built), pilot unknown, Jasta 26

• Fokker D.VII (OAW-built), MFJ III

The Elite series are actually wet transfers rather than decals. Wet transfers go on like decals, but after they've dried, the carrier film actually peels away eliminating the clear edge found on normal decals (and the periodic silvering as well).

Fokker D.VII - FCM/Elite 48-19

This set provides markings for five examples:

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), ObLt Robert von Greim, Jasta 34b

• Fokker D.VII (OAW-built), Lt Ernest Riedel, Jasta 19

• Fokker D.VII (OAW-built), ObLt Hasso von Hedel, Jasta 24

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), Lt Frodien, Jasta 40s

• Fokker D.VII (Albatros-built), Carl Degelow, Jasta 40s

VASP 737s - FCM 144-09

This set was previously issued, but this set features corrections in this new edition. These provide markings for four guppies:

• 737-300, VASP, PP-SOU

• 737-200, VASPEX Cargo, PP-SMW

• 737-300, VASP 'Rio Sampa', PP-SOU

• 737-200, VASP, PP-SMA

VASP Airbus A300B2 - FCM 144-22

This set provides markigns for two aircraft:

• A300B2, VASP, PP-SNL

• A300B2, VASP, PP-SNL
