RS Models 1/72 Curtiss Hawk II floatplane

The kit
It has the same parts than those described in the IM issue of May 2009, with the addition of floats. The parts look as crisp as the one already described. The various struts are thin enough.
It comes with 3 different markings :- Iquitos on the Amazon river, Peru 1933
- Fuerza Aérea Colombiana, Cartagena 1933
- Germany 1935
All are in aluminium scheme with a particularity for the Colombian one, the floats are camouflaged. Attractive scheme ....
The only minus I saw on this kit is the lack of information provided to paint the interior nor the engine. I think I will go for an aluminium colour for the interior, with no certitude. I already found some pictures of the real motor.
I already built a Curtiss F6C-3 "Hawk" floatplane some years ago and it will be a nice pair of planes. They have the same wings for a different fuselage.Conclusion
This is a very nice little kit which cry to be build soon. If the fit is as good as the parts looks nice, it will be a fast build.
