F&A Miniatures 1/72 Polish Armored Car WZ.28

By Matt Bittner

Introduction

From Wikipedia:

"Samochód pancerny wz. 28 (literally "Armoured car, year 1928 model") was a Polish armoured car of the 1920s. Based on French-built Citroën-Kegresse B2 10CV half-track chassis, the vehicle became the standard armoured car of the Polish Army. However, due to low speed and problems with reliability, already in 1933 it was decided to return the completed wz. 28 armoured cars to the factory and rebuild them as all-wheel Samochód pancerny wz. 34."

A more comprehensive history can be found on the Tanks Encyclopedia site.

The Kit

The F&A Miniatures 1/72 Polish Armored Car WZ.28 consists of six pieces of gray 3D printed resin: the main, one-piece body; the turret with the gun molded in-situ; two rear tracks; and two front wheels.

Detail is quite awesome but you need to be careful when removing supports because a lot of the smallest parts are supported; I'm sill trying to find a good solution to removing these without breaking the parts off. For example, printed on each corner of the main hull are too-scale tow hooks. I have preliminarily started removing the supports and have broken each and every one.

Conclusion

But don't let my ham-fistedness keep you from picking up this print. F&A Miniatures do have some of the best 3D prints on the market and the detail is phenomenal.

I definitely want to thank F&A Minatures for sending this in for review.
