There are a number of after-market track sets for the M26/M46, in either injection molded plastic or cast metal. I discovered that prices were all over the place, from $70 for the cast metal tracks, down to the low $20's for injection plastic. Enter Bronco with their new set of "workable" tracks. The Bronco tracks comes with replacement drive sprockets for the Tamiya, Dragon Models, and Hobby Boss kits, and this is a major advantage. This is an excellent idea, and kudos to Bronco for including these extra parts. Bronco_T80_Tracks_B.JPG

The tracks themselves are multipiece. Each link consists of six parts, left and right upper and lower track pads, a separate center guide horn, plus the skeletal part that links one track to the next. These are a bit complex, but it should insure very good detail and flexibility. This set is in fact perfectly suited to be assembled while watching a baseball or football game on the television. Both sports offer loads of "down time" during the game where very little is happening, allowing the viewer to concentrate on a secondary activity, such as assembling model tank tracks! My sincere thanks to Dragon Models USA for providing this excellent track set to Internet Modeler for review. Bronco_M26_M46_track_set_1.JPG
