With the new flood of armor kits from China manufacturer Hobby Boss, Eduard has stepped it up with matching PE sets. Their latest is for the Leopard 2A5/6 kit. The set includes 3 large frets and one smaller fret. The brass is well etched; however some of the parts are very fragile. I managed to damage 4 parts just taking the frets out of the packaging. Fragility aside, the set includes some great detail parts including the drive sprockets, tool and stowage clamps, the MG, and extensive engine deck grills. It also provides for some rare details that often are not included in kits such as the smoke dispenser covers.
CONCLUSION
While some parts are small and fragile, overall the set is very worth while. The additional detail it adds to the Hobby Boss kit is amazing. I highly recommend the set to anyone building the Leopard 2A5/6. I'd like to thank Eduard for providing the set.
