Brengun 1/144 Mark I Fiat G.50 Photoetch

By Matt Bittner

Overview

Mark I's 1/144 output has been very enjoyable. Who would have thought that we would have a Fiat G.50 in 1/144 but thanks to Mark I, we do. With the openness of the G.50's cockpit, there is definitely room to add more detail that can be easily seen. And that detail comes from Brengun.

The Photoetch

The Brengun 1/144 Fiat G.50 photoetch set for the Mark I kit consists of enough photoetch parts for two models, since the Mark I box comes with two kits.

Brengun BRL144173

For each model, Brengun provides photoetch for the cockpit: replacement seat and rudder pedals; seat belts; the control wheel and support for raising the landing gear; a new instrument panel; and replacement doors if you want to display them open. For the engine Brengun includes wiring. For the outside Brengun provides replacement landing gear doors and pitot tubes.

All in all an excellent set to add more detail to the diminutaive Mark I Fiat G.50.

My thanks to Brengun for sending this set to review.
