Brengun Propeller Flangers for Wooden Propellers

By Matt Bittner

Brengun has released what they call "propeller flangers" (which I call prop bosses) in two scales, 1/72 and 1/144:

Brengun Propeller Flangers for Wooden Propellers Parts

There are four sizes of bosses - 2.4mm, 2.8mm, 3.0mm and 3.4mm - and multiple different styles in each size, making 64 total pieces of photoetch for each scale.

These are essential when building WW1 and 'tweener models for a couple of reasons. First, most modeling companies don't pay attention to what type of boss is used on the prop in question, and finally because most injected-plastic prop bosses are very soft in detail. These will add an extra layer of accuracy to your model.

I definitely thankĀ Brengun for sending these sets to review.
