Eduard 1/72 Airfix Whitley Mk.V Zoom Photoetch

By Matt Bittner

Eduard's Zoom Photoetch sets tend to include "just enough" detail to make a stock, out-of-the-box kit just a bit more interesting. Usually the Zoom sets include mainly internal detail and this set for the Airfix 1/72 Whitley Mk.V is no exception. Eduard 1/72 Airfix Whitley Mk.V Zoom Photoetch

Inside the set is a replacement instrument panel (to which you must add the kit's rudder pedals that you need to remove from the kit's instrument panel); belts to add to the seats; items to add to the control column; various "bits and bobs" to add to the kit sidewalls (as well as instructions on what to remove for some of those "bits and bobs"); additions to the throttle quadrant; in addition are other items added to the kit's floors.

As I mentioned, just enough internal detail to make the cockpit look just a bit better than out-of-the-box.

My thanks to Eduard for the review set.
