Eduard Brassin 1/48 Mosquito wheels

By Jacob Russell

These Brassin wheels are for Tamiya's DeHavilland Mosquito kit. They consist of 8 finely cast resin pieces plus a set of rice paper masks. The main wheels are divided into 3 pieces each, 2 styles of inner wheel faces plus the wheels/tires themselves. These have subtle bulges and superb block tread detail. The tailwheel assembly includes the strut as a separate casting plus the correct anti-shimmy tailwheel.

Tamiya's Mosquito is a well known kit. Accurate and well detailed right out the box, there's very little you need to add (seatbelts, wheels) to produce a contest winning model. I recommend these Brassin wheels and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
