Eduard Brassin FW190A Flaps

By Jacob Russell

This is Eduard's new Brassin flap set for their Focke-Wulf FW190A/F kits. It consists of 26 parts. 8 of them are 3-D printed resin and 18 parts are photo-etch on a very small fret. The resin parts are delicate. Take your time and be patient removing them from their bases.

The photo-etch parts are equally fine and 8 are some of the smallest PE parts you're likely to ever encounter. Removing these parts from the fret from within a plastic bag will be critical, to avoid losing them in the process!

You will have to remove the injection molded flaps from the lower wing and replace them entirely with the resin/photo-etch parts. This is very much a matter of mind over matter. Eduard's instructions are well illustrated and easy to follow, so I recommend you review them carefully before beginning.

This is a great set. Eduard's radial-engined Focke-Wulf FW190s are the best available. They are accurate, well detailed and they are now easier to build with the revised tooling. Poseable flaps are a great way to differentiate your Wurger from other models on the contest table. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
