Eduard Brassin FW190D Flaps

By Jacob Russell

These are Eduard's new Brassin flaps for their Focke-Wulf FW190D-9/11/13 kits. It consists of 26 parts. 8 are 3-D printed resin and 18 are photo-etch on a very small fret. The resin parts are VERY delicate. Take your time and be patient removing them from their bases.

The photo-etch parts are equally fine and 8 of them are some of the smallest PE parts you're likely to ever encounter. Removing these parts from the fret from within a plastic bag will be critical, to avoid losing them in the process!

You have to remove the injection molded flaps from the lower wing and replace them entirely with the resin/photo-etch parts. Eduard's instructions are well illustrated and easy to follow, so review them carefully before beginning.

This is a great set. Eduard's inline Focke-Wulf FW190 Doras are the best available. They are accurate, and well detailed. Dropped flaps are a great way to differentiate your Wurger from other models on the contest table. I recommend this set and I would like to thank Eduard for the review sample.
